On the way to northern Chile

On Tuesday, 18.12., we arrived in the desert. In San Pedro de Atacama, which we have now decided is the northernmost point of our trip. The original plan was to drive to Arica and spend a few days on the beach there. But everyone we meet here is so enthusiastic about the south that we will continue our journey there next week. So now San Pedro. In La Serena, there was a young family who took the long bus ride. When we went to bed, they probably got on the bus - we were on the plane the next morning and in Antofagasta at the same time. We also took the bus from there. And it was a really nice ride! I enjoyed the view out the window of the constantly changing desert landscape! That means, since Antofagasta there has been a lot of sun, sand and wind!
