Tag 266 - Cozy day with the scooter

Hi everyone

Not much happening today :). We started the day at the pool, ordered some delicious food, and took a little ride on the scooter. Since the west coast is still partially closed to the north, we decided to head south to Patong again. We passed through several districts and enjoyed the warm air on our skin. On the way back, we stopped once again at our favorite bar and enjoyed a cold drink and the view. Back in our village, we passed by a food distribution point. You can now see these in many places here. People line up in endless queues for a bag of rice and half a liter of water. The whole thing is organized by restaurants that want to help the people. We think it's a really great thing and made a stop. We gave the owner 1000 Baht (about CHF 30.-) and praised him for his efforts. It may not be much money by European standards, but in Thailand you can get several bags of rice for it. The owner thanked us hundreds of times and wanted to take a photo with us. Satisfied, we drove to our accommodation and enjoyed the rest of the evening there.
