Sunday in Auckland

Sunday: in the morning we made our way to Mount Eden, on the way we met a girl from our hostel - Kathrin - who was also heading there - she had arranged to meet with 2 other girls. So the 5 of us girls set off, the streets in Auckland could also be called hills that you walk up and down - so you get extremely hot after just a few hundred meters.

We walked at a brisk pace for about 30-40 minutes to Mount Eden and then up the mountain for a maximum of 5-10 minutes. The view from up there was amazing, unfortunately it was quite windy and cold when we were up there and the sun only came out when we were on the way back down.

At lunchtime, we cooked for the first time in the hostel - pasta with tomato sauce - unfortunately the salt in the hostel was just out 🙄 so everything tasted a bit bland...

Afterwards, we went to Starbucks to steal their free WiFi and checked out some job offers - unfortunately there was nothing suitable. We also don't really know which websites are best to look for job offers...

In the evening, we had some dinner and talked to two German girls from our room.

Tomorrow we finally want to go to the bank - make an appointment to finally apply for the tax number..
