At 9:30 am, under the sun, blue sky, and +16 degrees, we set off in Almeria. Through a very barren, mountainous landscape towards Malaga. Greenhouses soon appeared again, even more extreme than yesterday. The entire landscape is covered with them, there is no tree or shrub, only plastic sheeting as far as the eye can see. They even reach up to the houses in the towns and often in between. All tomatoes! Unbelievable! This was the case for a stretch of about 100 km, until 50 km before Malaga. Then the landscape became beautiful again, with trees, palms, and bushes. After 250 km, we arrived in Mija, about 30 km before Marbella. A pretty, well-maintained small town right by the Mediterranean. We are parked on a large parking lot right outside the town along with about 15 other motorhomes. There is a disposal facility available, albeit very basic, you have to open the manhole cover :-) and we were also able to fill up on water. We did some shopping at Aldi, only 100 m away. Then we took a walk by the beach at +19 degrees and sunny weather, and returned through the town. We passed by a fitness trail and of course, we made good use of it :-)). Poinsettias are growing outdoors in the flower beds here, it looks nice.
