Day 22 - Beach, Food, Meeting - 25.07.2020

Good morning sunrise

After breakfast, we went to Nea Peramos beach. Today there were waves that can actually be called waves. It was beautiful to watch and even more beautiful to listen to the sound. Later, Dimitri brought a small bowl of anchovies, which tasted good but were more appetizing than filling.

As expected, the beach was busier than usual because it was the weekend.

So around 2:30 pm, I went up to eat and ordered something I didn't want :-) I had something else in mind, but Dimitri said he had fresh small fish, so I ordered that with a Greek salad. Dimitri also gave me a Tsipouro, which tasted more like Grappa this time ;-)

While I was eating, new guests arrived at the table two tables away, and I became interested in their conversation because the language sounded very familiar to me. Somehow we started talking and it turned out that my hearing correctly identified the Swabians, from the Sigmaringen region :-) So very far away from me, haha. It was a German couple with a Greek friend. They invited me to join them at the table and it turned into a very pleasant and enjoyable afternoon for the Greek and me. They have a great plan and I believe they will accomplish it. We exchanged numbers and then I said goodbye.

I quickly bought some fresh drinks and then drove back to the accommodation.

Here I had a special surprise, which I will talk about in more detail in the epilogue of the vacation, so you will be surprised as well.

After that, I ended the evening/day and went to sleep.
