Today I felt like going more into nature and going hiking. Yes, I'm already in nature here on the farm, but I mean really with hiking trails and all.
Since I had already thought about going to a national park during my time here, I thought today was a good idea. So I drove about an hour by car to Söderåsen National Park.
Once there, I put on my hiking shoes and set off. First, I walked the yellow trail, the Kopparhatt round. This trail is 4 km long. It leads through beautiful nature with a stream and then up a mountain. Once at the top of Kopparhatt (the mountain), I took a little break and enjoyed the beautiful view. On the way back, there were always places where you could look down into the valley.
Once back down, I still had so much energy in me that I decided to walk another path. I chose the blue one, the Hjortsprång round. This circular trail is 7.7 km long and the longest circular trail in the national park. After some time, it became tiring. Especially since I had almost no water. But since I saw on the map that there was a resting place shortly after the halfway point where there should be water, I didn't give up. Finally, when I arrived there, there was no water available, as it has been very dry in Sweden in the last few months. It hardly rained in the last few months, so no water could reach the mountain either. So I drank my last sips of water and continued. Along the way, I stopped a few more times to enjoy the beautiful view and nature. But then I made my way back to my car, as I was now quite exhausted.
So I spent a wonderful day in the enchanting nature of Sweden.
