Arrival via London

Getting from Germany to St. Lucia is a bit complicated because you have to change airports in London, including your luggage. St. Lucia is served daily by BA from London Gatwick. So you have to pick up your luggage at Heathrow, take the bus about 40 minutes to Gatwick and check in again. You can find the bus quite quickly and it costs around €20 per person. On the way back we had to go from Gatwick to London City Airport. This was even easier by subway than by bus. The flight from London to St. Lucia takes just over 8 hours.
