Here it is again, my beloved street in Egypt that leads to Kite-Village Hamata.
After a 5-hour flight from CH/DE, you reach Marsa-Alam. Then the kite shuttle takes you to Hamata and you reach the place that fascinated me. It is kind of the standard spot for a 1-2 week vacation. I think 10 days are optimal but there are also people who stay here for months🤷♂️. If you have been there, you know what I am writing about or at least trying to...
Currently, I am staying here, as often with Mr. Marc, and we are enjoying the sun, hot temperatures, and kitesurfing. The famous Sakara with its 4% must not be missing, of course... good to know that there is plenty of it here. The rest of the drinks leave something to be desired.
We have already visited various kitespots in the world and the surrounding area. We agree, this spot for the standard vacation time suits us best. Friendships are made, maintained, and without even realizing it, we always meet somewhere else in the world or at least have a connection to Hamata.
This hobby, kite flying in connection with water and plenty of wind, was so much fun for me that future vacations were based on it. During this time, I also developed a liking for traveling.
I often could not find an answer to the question: "if you had more time, which country would you go to?" Honestly, I still don't have a definite idea about that. However, I am glad that I have found a hobby that simplifies the selection of travel destinations. But that doesn't mean that I am not open to other and new things☝️ (if any "non-kite women" are reading this.)
Looking back
Spastgal was left in England and is enjoying her time there.
For Sirella, the work routine resumed after the short trip.
I left the coast from Dover heading towards Bonn
With Mr. Marc, the vacation from the vacation started with a road trip for one night to St. Gallen for a birthday party before continuing to Düsseldorf on Saturday morning.
(Thanks to Mirjam and Rico;-)
While Ueli and Planer are waiting on a gravel field for October 15.
Mr. Marc and I are enjoying a few more days in the sun! Great
In this case, have a nice time but not for me... lol
