The first night at the hostel was good. There was also a small breakfast. Incredible! It rained at 28 degrees. So we waited a little in the lobby, where Henni and I met the French woman Marina and took her to the city. We took the tourist boat to the Royal Palace, the tourist attraction in Bangkok.
You could only enter with a specific dress code. So we had to get airy, long skirts or pants, because our leggings were not allowed. Only then were we let in. The grounds are huge and there are so many tourists there. Understandably, because the temples are very impressive and grand.
After visiting the temples, we were hungry. So off to the city center to Khao San Road, the street for backpackers with many bars, street food and hostels. My first Thai food with noodles and vegetables was very tasty, but different from Germany.
Later in a small temple we met the Swiss guy Davide. He had already been to Bangkok before and showed us around the streets. The afternoon turned into the evening with Thai beer and we partied until 4 a.m. 😁.
