The next morning, we first go to the state health authority in Kayseri to get the PCR test for the Georgian border.

We are lucky, helpful traveler Mehmet from the pharmacy across the street gives us the address of a private clinic where we can get the result after a few hours (it can take up to 48 hours at the state authority). But when we can't find the clinic in the traffic chaos, we decide to drive 8 hours to Trabzon first and take care of it there!

The drive through the Turkish hinterland is indescribable again!

Arriving in Trabzon, we not only have a super nice hotel room for the night - the hotel cooperates with a testing center and we get tested comfortably in the room at 10:30 p.m. :)

Now it's time, for the second time we say goodbye to Turkey - after the very devout Black Sea coast, this time we drove through Turkey completely, from autumn through winter to midsummer on the Mediterranean coast. We have found new friends, got to know the interior of the country, made a surprise visit, and found our dream beach hut - teşekkürler Türkiye, we will be back!

Conclusion Turkey the Second Katha: 'I'm so glad we drove the 3500 kilometers through Turkey and back to Tbilisi because I had no idea of the beauty of this country. The surprise at Ronny's parents' place was really great, we will visit our beach hut in Anamur many more times, and I'm already looking forward to seeing Serhat and Bilal again!'

This gave us the opportunity to discover other parts of Turkey, meet new friends, and explore the wonderful landscape. What a great road trip from Georgia through Turkey and back. The 3500 kilometers were worth it, I must say...!'
