Our highlights in melbourne:

- small alleys and arcades with bars/cafes and lots of street art

- free tram zone - the tram rides in the center for free, melbourne has the largest tram network in the world

- victoria market - giant market with everything your heart desires

- thanks to a local tip, we were on the most luxurious toilets ever on the 35th floor of a hotel with a view over Melbourne, awesome!

- mixture of buildings and the diversity of different people

- the botanic garden - amazing! I could have uploaded 100 pictures, thank God David stopped me from doing that...

- shrine of remambrance - the largest war memorial in Australia with a museum - very interesting

- penguins live at st. Kilda beach! Super tiny and super cute! You can watch them every evening when they come home from fishing. Unfortunately, there are no proper photos of them because of the darkness...

Tomorrow we are going to Tasmania! The overland track awaits us!

What we liked most about Melbourne:

- alleys with bars and cafes and lots of street art.

- Queen Victoria market.

- breathtaking views from the bathrooms of a luxury hotel on the 35th floor!

- mixture of architectures and people.

- The botanic garden.

- monument to the fallen soldiers in the First World War, the inside museum is quite interesting.

- observation of penguins at St Kilda beach.

And tomorrow we travel to Tasmania! The Overlandtrack route awaits us!
