How do I get an adapter - Part 1
Yesterday was fun and my Mac stopped working. So I went to the reception and they immediately took out an adapter from the drawer. Yippee. That was easy! Back in the room, the disappointment was great: the 3-pin thing doesn't fit. So back to the reception. Including the cable which was the big problem. A call to the shop: no adapters left. A call to IT: they will check if they have something like that. Minutes later, the negative answer. I insisted and they reassured me that a driver will go to Trivandrum later in the evening and visit a technology shop there. They will then contact me. Hmm. I'm a bit skeptical about that....
This morning, after a restless night with 3 hours of wakefulness, I went for breakfast. Then I had my daily consultation with the doctor at 10 o'clock. Unfortunately, the massage didn't take place by the sea again. Apparently, AJITHA (that's her name, my masseuse) still occupies the treatment room. Today there was an oiling, then stamping with hot herbal cotton pillows, and a treatment of my lungs which looks as follows: a ring (about 2 cm high) is formed on the chest from a dough. A fleece is placed in it and then the whole thing is filled with warm oil. And then you lie down for 30 minutes. Afterwards, everything is removed and the oiling is scrubbed off. With a headband and a tunic, you are then dismissed until the next day.
At 2 pm, I already had the next appointment for which I signed up at the reception yesterday: a Mendhi course. That's what I understood at least. SMILE
I was the only one and the course was not really a course, but I could choose a pattern from pictures and off we went. I chose a foot Mendhi. It was applied in 15 minutes and after a photo session with the artist, I walked barefoot (I couldn't put on my shoes otherwise it would have been ruined) back to my room. After 30 minutes, I had to sprinkle the henna part with lemon-sugar water. So that it doesn't dry out too quickly and stains better.
After that, I wanted to sit outside again and continue reading my book, which I started in the sleepless night. But the ants came in droves to my sugared foot, so I fled inside.
Before dinner, I took a tour of the whole area for the first time. In the dark, with small lights everywhere, but it also had its charm. Plus the sounds of the birds. Just cool. I also found the swing that I saw in the brochure and sat on it. It's attached between 2 palm trees and you can swing really well. Like a child on the playground! hihi.
Dinner was accompanied by a cultural show with dancers and music. Down at the beach, the sea was roaring and the waves crashed regularly with loud thunder on the fine sand. An exciting, musical mixture.
I enjoyed Dal (lentils) and various vegetables with Chiabatti bread. According to the diet plan, I can only eat vegetarian food and without sugar. So I always ask the chef what is suitable for me. They are all very helpful.
In the room, I dedicated myself to the book and went to sleep at 11 o'clock.
