Krabi 17.12.

The first night in the new hotel was a bit restless because we unfortunately had a very hard mattress and the air conditioning was a bit difficult for Franci. So we decided to have a relaxing day at the beach or pool.

Luckily our hotel is right on the beach, so after breakfast we just had to quickly get our beach gear from the room. After a few hours in the sun, we got two delicious shakes in one of the beach bars.

On the way there we saw a big blue parrot. With a little luck, even in more touristy areas, you can often come across exotic animals that we don't know here.

We then spent the rest of the day in the shade by the pool. In the evening we went back to the small “city center”, where we went to a restaurant with typical local dishes. There we had Pad Thai and rice with fried chicken.

Later in the evening we got a delicious Thai pankake for dessert, which is also very well known here.

Nothing much happened after that and we went to sleep relatively early.
