Hearst Castle and surroundings...

In California, there is actually a castle and we couldn't miss it. A pretty wealthy man fulfilled his dream of European art history here. He built a huge castle from a collection of various art objects. Since his death, it has belonged to the state and has become a destination for masses of tourists ;) The photos cannot really capture how crazy this place is.

Near Hearst Castle, we came across sea elephants on the beach :D Really impressive animals... when they're not eating, they just sleep on the beach and enjoy the sun - Perfect life :-P
