Six months have passed and with it already more than half of my stay here... I have started counting the days that are left instead of the days I have already spent here. I have almost developed a bit of fear of not being able to do everything I still want to do - and yet I still have half a year left!

Currently, I am really, really happy here and honestly do not want to leave anymore. If there was a possibility to do my Master's degree here, I would probably do it.

This month I have met many new people, made and strengthened friendships, and simply enjoyed my life. Admittedly, the university and especially my bachelor thesis have been neglected, but right now I simply have different priorities: Living!

The day before yesterday, I realized that I haven't felt as good as I do now in a long time. The initial period here was difficult, and around Christmas, I just wanted to go home, but since mid-January, I have been really happy to be able to have the experiences I am currently having. The island is truly a little paradise, full of hidden happiness and unexpected encounters.

When I arrived, I was sure that I would never want to live here 'forever' - now I'm not so sure anymore. Maybe I'll get on a plane right after my Master's and make it nice here :D

Currently, I can only rave and procrastinate my bachelor thesis - but it will definitely be finished at some point.
