The backpacks are packed

After packing our backpacks last night, our journey can begin today. The departure is scheduled for 14:40. It will take us from Düsseldorf via Moscow to Bangkok. The accommodation at the destination is already booked. But that's about it, with what is booked besides the return flight.

In terms of weight, our backpacks have stayed within the limit:

Backpack: 14.6kg, Daypack: 3kg

Christian

Backpack: 11.8kg, Daypack: 3.5kg, Valuables: 0.5kg

Christian's baggage is actually lighter, even though he has all the photo equipment with him ;-). This time, it's indeed not a small amount. In addition to the usual camera system, there is also a drone and a gimbal. However, there will be a separate entry about the technical equipment.

This time, packing systems in the backpacks provide a bit more organization. Nathalie swears by compression bags, and Christian prefers rollable vacuum bags. At the end of the vacation, we will probably know better which one was better... Both are definitely better than just throwing everything in! By the way, this is Backpack Hack #1 ;-)
