Short pleasure on Nusa Penida, 16.03.2020 (Day 45)

After a restless night and further research on the internet, we decide, with a heavy heart, to end our time on Nusa Penida after only one night and take the speedboat back to Bali as long as the ferries to Bali are still running.

But that's not all. We want to try to rebook our return flight.

On the internet, we find an address for the Qatar office in Bali.

We take a Grab taxi directly from the Sanur harbor to the office.

There, we are almost shocked. People upon people, all having the same thought as us.

We quickly start talking to other Germans and find out that it doesn't make sense to wait here anymore today.

In the morning, numbers were handed out and only passengers with numbers are being attended to on that day.

However, we wait and hope to talk to a Qatar employee.

And the almost 4 hours of waiting were worth it. Shortly before closing the office, we sit at the table of a friendly employee of the airline Qatar.

Yes, and what should we say...reluctantly, we will have to end our trip and have booked a return flight for this Thursday at 00:30.

We will now spend the last three days near the airport in Kuta, so that we can react quickly to flight schedule changes.

So we will come home two weeks earlier than planned. On the one hand, we are looking forward to family and friends, on the other hand, we are more than sad to cut short this beautiful trip on Thursday.

But we have already decided where we will go on vacation next year...definitely to Bali!

Since we haven't seen much of the island because of diving, we will return to this beautiful island next year ❤️
