6. Stop Kelowna, British Columbia

Ebimisami: 19.11.2019

Sundays, the connection from Vernon to Kelowna is not particularly good, which is why I got up early to catch one of only two buses on that day. I arrived in Kelowna early and was even able to check into my room. However, I quickly dropped off my backpack and set off. Rain was also forecasted for the day and the sky initially seemed to confirm that, but luckily it stayed dry.

I walked down Bernard Avenue, the main shopping street, to the Dolphin Statue and then to Waterfront Park, located on Okanagan Lake.

Supposedly, wealthy Canadians have summer houses by the lake in the city because it is one of the sunniest cities in British Columbia. As a result, the entire city, especially the parks, are well-maintained.

Later in the day, I went to City Park and was surprised by the sun.
