Day 42: Port Douglas - Daintree NP

Ebimisami: 20.01.2019

After some rest from yesterday and a small breakfast, we head to the Daintree River where we take two cool crocodile tours. Pia is amazed by guide Bill who tells us exciting things about crocodiles and the area. And yes, he also looks like a real crocodile hunter (see photo) :-D

Despite apparently not optimal crocodile conditions - rather cool (29 degrees) and raining - we see a total of four wild crocodiles!

Then we take the ferry, including our camper, across this river to our next campground - right in the middle of the jungle! When we arrive there, about 10 kangaroos are being fed in the campground's wildlife park. We are also allowed to go to the kangaroos and even feed them!! So adorable :-) We spend a calm and idyllic night because we are the only ones at the jungle campground!
