Tag 66 - Cromer: Campsite and short hike

Ebimisami: 06.06.2019

Hey everyone!

Today we left our parking space around 10 o'clock.

We drove a little further to Cromer and made a short stop along the way. For the first time in the last few days, we had good internet reception! So quickly upload the pictures and off we go.

Here in England, there are very few facilities for water and waste disposal, which is why we were almost forced to stay at a campsite. Our water was empty, but the rest was full...

The overnight stay here only costs 15 pounds, which is very fair.

When we arrived at the campsite, we didn't regret our decision for a minute! We were warmly welcomed again and the place is really lovingly designed. We asked the lady at the reception if there were any seals here. Helpful, she immediately went off and gave us two flyers. They also sold self-designed hiking maps in different lengths. We decided on the 4.8 kilometer tour through the area. The map only cost 25 pennies :)!

We took a break for a little over an hour, ate something, and set off on the hiking route.

The path was really great! It led over footpaths, up a mountain, and ultimately along the sea. There was always something to see and the time flew by! On top of the mountain, we took another short break, had a drink, and enjoyed the view.

Now we're back in the camper, it's 6 pm, and we probably won't do much more today.

It was a great day with glorious weather!

Unfortunately, the forecasts for tomorrow are not so good anymore - it's supposed to rain again. But we hope it will hold out until the evening :).

Oh yes, yesterday we already had 11,000 kilometers on the clock since the start of the journey :).

Tomorrow we will drive a little further north. Probably not that far again :). There is so much to see and observe here, it really invites you to linger. If we continue at this pace, we will be running out of time for the one month we calculated :D.

In addition, we have booked a tour to see the seals tomorrow. They are said to live in the middle of a nature reserve, which can only be reached by boat. Keep your fingers crossed that it stays dry at least until then :)).

See you later :)
