Tag 290 - El Cuyo & Flamingos 🦩

Haaaaalloooo zusammen ☺️

Today was a day when everything went smoothly ☺️

We packed our things, checked out, and hopped into a taxi. Our ferry was already docked at the port - we quickly bought tickets, boarded the ferry, and five minutes later, we were on our way to the mainland ☺️.

There, we picked up our car and drove to our next accommodation in "El Cuyo".

On the way, we took a short break to fly the drone, as we were driving on a truly spectacular road! A few hundred meters away, we saw a huge group of flamingos. I had to take photos of them! So we parked our car on the side of the road and I jogged over to get closer. At first, it was a walk along the beach, but towards the end, there was no way around the tall grass. But it was worth it! Shortly after I took a few photos, the animals flew away and I happily returned to the car ☺️.

Now we could continue. We arrived at the village at 2 pm, so we had an hour to find something to eat. Not so easy to find a restaurant here... It's not touristy at all, and somehow we feel a bit like in Vietnam: Everyone looks at us when we walk around, but everyone is very friendly and greets us. Actually quite cozy ☺️

We did find a restaurant and enjoyed a burger ☺️

Then we drove to our new accommodation - it's really awesome!

We have a bathtub - on the balcony!!

After the check-in, we went to the supermarket and bought some groceries.

Now we have uploaded all the pictures from yesterday and slowly deserve the evening off 😉

Now it's time to let the water run into the bathtub and enjoy the view 😉
