Wow! This city is simply huge!
One week in South Korea and only one day in Busan, the rest in Seoul. There is so much to see there. Whether I like it... I can't say exactly. It seems almost too perfect and at least in Seoul you can only see and eat the best of the best.
Great coffee everywhere and so many beautiful coffee shops. European restaurants that taste really good. It seems like they have invested a lot and put a lot of value on quality as soon as something is taken over from abroad. One highlight for me was the signage everywhere. From arrival at the airport to departure, you couldn't get lost, despite the size.
Busan can be reached by high-speed train in just over two hours, and you're on the other side of South Korea. There is a super cute colorful village where only refugees used to land and build up the village so colorful. With the help of artists and architects, it has become more and more popular with tourists.
Keywords that are still on my mind when I think of Korea:
- spicy but delicious food
- distant
- everyone dressed in black or beige (in Seoul)
- the most beautiful skyscrapers and high-rise buildings
- cute animations, lots of digital advertising, a lot of manipulation (not meant to be judgmental)
- my loot for my natural cosmetics face treatments ♥️, see picture
Otherwise, I hope everyone is well and healthy in the new year and send you greetings (today from Hanoi)! See you soon and don't let the January blues get to you! 🤪😁😍🤗💪😄😂
Yours Mai-Linh
