Beautiful Iceland

The nature of Iceland is fascinating, impressive, and simply indescribable in words. This country must be experienced. The untouched nature that simply carves its way here. Clear water, as clear as it can be, waterfalls bursting out of the mountains with tremendous force. Icelandic horses living their lives in the wild, simply beautiful.

It is a pity that finding a camping site is quite difficult and usually spoils the mood in the evenings. There are some sites that are open all year round, but the showers are not yet operational. For us, this is completely incomprehensible.

But finally, we have found a place with a shower!

The guardian of the site, a German, has explained to us that the demand in Iceland has never been as high as it is this year. They are completely overwhelmed and the sanitary facilities are not prepared for winter. Typically, the camping season doesn't start until May/June.

Here, we will treat ourselves to an extended hot shower, who knows when the next one will be.

After breakfast, we will continue our route.
