Going out to eat is difficult here. They have adapted to summer time. And we are very far west. So the sun rises and sets late. Spain does not have the same time as Portugal. Portugal is only 50 km away.

Restaurants often don't open until 8pm, and food is available from 9pm. Unusual for us Northern Europeans.

Today I rode my bike to Rota. Gudrun didn't come with me because she doesn't like cycling. The journey takes about 20 minutes one way.

Rota has a harbor, a small old town, and a naval base.

Otherwise, we watched the sunset (around 9:20pm).
