Brisbane Riverwalk

My trip today took me to New Farm Park, where the Brisbane Powerhouse is also located. The power station supplied the tramway in the first half of the last century, which was discontinued in the 1960s. Today, cultural events are held there. The New Farm Park area served as agricultural land during the development of Brisbane. Since 1919, this area has been a recreational park in the suburb of the same name.

I took the City Hopper on the river to the nearest dock. From there, I walked through the suburb to the park. There are also docks at the park that are serviced by the CityCat Ferry. However, there are fares for these, which is not the case with the City Hopper. As more and more clouds appeared in the sky, I walked back to the city center via the Brisbane Riverwalk. The Riverwalk is a boardwalk on the river.
