1.9. - Day 3 in Berlin

Ebimisami: 01.09.2019

I still owe you a summary. So, how is Berlin (for me)? The word that came to my mind when thinking about it is:

OSTENTATIOUS.

The Hohenzollerns, the GDR, the federal government, the new housing construction...

But Berlin is really lively. Party everywhere, even less relaxation while cycling than in Hamburg, endless pubs.

And the Tiergarten in the middle of the city, that's something.

All in all, not my city, I prefer Hamburg. Katja liked both cities equally.

On the last day in Berlin, we take a boat tour on the Havel. It starts from Potsdam.

Bike Ride Home
We got tired of the Berlin S-Bahn. So we turned on the bike navigation and cycled the 26 kilometers from Potsdam to Mahlow.

Flat land, mostly without bike paths. A manageable pleasure.

Dinner

Once we arrived 'home', we made use of our remaining supplies.

We ate out only three times during the whole vacation. A bus vacation is more fun as a self-caterer.

Grilled pork neck, brown onions, crostini, and mashed potatoes.
