Hyggelig (03.08.17)

Hyggelig is a frequently used adjective in Danish and Norwegian, which literally means "cozy", "pleasant", "nice" and "good". In addition, hyggelig also has other consistently positive connotations such as "secure", "intimate", "at home", "lovely", "picturesque", "comforting", "small but fine", "cute".

This word not only describes most buildings here, but also today's day quite well. We spent most of it cozy in the apartment, as it rained all day.

In the late afternoon, we finally went into town and visited the city library. The building is very large and modern. The many glass facades make the interior friendly and bright.

Afterwards we went to a café and then drove home again, as we still have to pack our things. Tomorrow we will continue to Sweden!
