Jule, a new star in the Chinese baby sky - or 'can I borrow your baby?'

We spent the whole day looking at potential new 'Muhsen's corners'. In the evening, we were going to a tavern outside the hotel. So we set off on foot. The forbidden friend Google showed us a lot of red spots near the hotel. Well then, we had the restaurant lesson in Chinese class, nothing could stop us. However, the little red spots turned out to be actual small snacks. Since both the meals and the prices were written in Mandarin, we decided to postpone this adventure for another time. So we tried our luck on the main road. A friendly Chinese woman led us to Bifengtang, a restaurant chain from Hong Kong. That looked good! A restaurant with interior design, a menu with pictures and even Latin letters but only Chinese-speaking employees. Very good! This way we would be forced to apply what we had learned again. We sat at a table. Since Jule had spent almost the whole day bravely in the stroller, she should now be allowed to crawl on the floor. Said and done! But no sooner had she touched the ground than the first waiter (fúwùjàn) jumped over to lift the poor child. There's no such thing in China! A child crawling on the floor... Besides, Jule, as cute as she is, apparently represents a doll beauty ideal. Anyway, 2 or 3 other staff members immediately gathered around Jule and her savior. In the meantime, we ordered our delicious food in almost fluent Chinese 😎. Then I said to my wife '...where is Jule actually?'. Her savior had already taken her to the checkout so that the rest of the staff could play with her. Ok, somehow strange, probably illegal in Germany (kidnapping), but Jule and her new fans had fun and the rest of the Muhsens could eat in peace.

But that's not all. The hype about our daughter had just started. At the neighboring table sat a group of two families, so also with their own children. Suddenly one of the gentlemen came over and asked quite uninhibitedly if he could borrow Jule to take photos... Ok, then let's see how it goes, we thought and took out our own cameras. It started a photo session like at a family photographer's. Sometimes the dad with Jule, sometimes the children with Jule and so on.

By the way, we got Jule back unharmed and very happy, we were full and satisfied and richer with a story for our life diary.

And Philipp? He ate his chicken legs and then played. He was quite happy that nobody wanted to pick him up or take pictures of him👍, it would have ended in a 'Let me!!! Mrrr' anyway.
