Vietnam: Cat Ba

Ebimisami: 18.10.2019

In Sa Pa we didn't do much anymore because the weather was still a bit rainy and Monique had a strong cold. Therefore, we planned our further journey a bit and explored the city.

On Wednesday we took the bus to Cat Ba. The journey took 10 hours, so there was no program on that day except for eating and sleeping :D

On Thursday we got up early and rented a motorbike to explore the island and visit the national park. The island consists largely of protected areas, which offer numerous mountains and tropical forests. We hiked up the highest mountain on the island and had a wonderful view despite the occasional rain. In the afternoon, we also visited the beach of Cat Ba. In the evening, we had delicious food as always :)

Today we started early again because we had booked a boat tour to Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay. The tour was amazing. The free-standing rocks in the water are impressive. You could learn a lot about Cat Ba and its fishing villages, which are located on the water. There was also a stop for kayaking, where you could explore the landscape on your own. We were incredibly lucky to see a group of Cat Ba langurs, of which there are only 60 left. After that, we went back to the boat. In between, there were also some stops for swimming and snorkeling. Tonight, we will go to the promenade for dinner and enjoy cocktails.

Jetzt hab ich den Dreh endlich raus..😂😂 Das ich alles lesen kann. Ihr habt echt ein sportliches Programm.😱 Aber bei diesen Eindrücken, verständlich. Passt weiterhin gut auf euch auf.😘
