A new home

Hello

In this post, I will briefly tell you about my life in my 1 1/2 months in Santiago.

For the first month, I chose a language school in Switzerland that then assigned me to a host family. I was really lucky, both the school and the family are great. I had three hours of lessons per day for a month to learn the basics of Spanish. The rest of the day, I used to explore the city or just chill by the pool. The family welcomed me warmly on the first day, and it was easy for me to feel at home here. The house (more like a villa to me) is quite large and has a beautiful garden. The food was also delicious, although my host mother doesn't like to cook, the family hired a nanny who took care of that part wonderfully. The family hosted other travelers and students besides me. I have met really interesting people and made new friends here.

I actually wanted to leave the city after a month, but what can I say, love got in the way, and I decided to extend my stay a bit longer.

After Santiago, I will travel further south in the country. However, I think I will return to Santiago before continuing my journey to the northern Peru.
