The coast of Uruguay

Ebimisami: 29.05.2017

Finally, the journey began! First heading west. We visited Colonia del Sacramento. Very beautiful, but equally touristy. Then we started our little wine tour. We stayed at Bodega Marichal. Here we were the sensation of the year. Neighbors and relatives were immediately informed and many proof photos were taken.

We also visited the largest winery in Uruguay (Don Pascal).

We didn't have to wait long for our first breakdown. At the coast of Atlantida, we discovered the problem. The left rear wheel was leaking (according to Silke's diagnosis).

Therefore, we decided to make a stop at Paraiso Suizo. At Heinz's "Swiss Paradise", Maggi was fixed again, we got to know Maggi's protectors, and of course, we met Lars and his blue Transit.

Sylvia and Chris, two travel birds with a passion for cruises via cargo ships, were on board the Grande San Paolo. Thanks to them, we have the following photo of Maggi:

After immortalizing ourselves on the Swiss Alpine Express, we headed towards Punta del Este.

In addition to a visit to a museum, which is the house of the "South American Picasso", we also visited Punta del Este with its landmark "Los fingerus" (named by Kai).

Currently, we are driving through the bumpy hinterland of Uruguay towards Argentina. By the way, we have decided to make a small change in our route. The next major stops are the Iguazú Falls.
