Seevuuuuus
Here we are again. Sorry, we would have loved to report something to you yesterday, but we were lazy and did absolutely nothing productive except for Netflix, eating and sleeping. Oops π€·π½ββοΈπ .
But today we got up at 6:30 am, got ready and had breakfast, and at 8 am our bus to Siem Reap left.
And to our surprise, they were once again punctual π². The bus was slightly bigger this time (but really only slightly, 20 people fit - or even fewer π ). So everything started well. Until the air conditioning broke down. Actually not that bad, because you could open the windows. Unfortunately, ONE (!!!) person found it too windy, or maybe she was afraid of her hairstyle, whatever. That's why the windows had to stay closed. And guys, seriously, we almost died in this bus, 31 degrees without air conditioning in the scorching sun. You can imagine how the air in this bus was β. But thankfully, at the next stop, all the windows were opened by people who felt the same as us π€·π½ββοΈπ. So at least we had some fresh air for the last 50 km.
We were once again punctual in Siem Reap and went for coffee in the Pub Street. After being approached by what felt like 62891781 tuk-tuk drivers in an hour, asking if we wanted to go to the airport or somewhere else (by the way, they are all drug dealers on the side, with everything in stock π), we took one of them to the hotel. He had a princess tuk-tuk, with pink seats π. We also negotiated a good deal with him for the next 2 days, he will take us to Angkor Wat π.
Our hotel is really nice too, this time a real hotel ππ. With a pool, of course πββοΈ.
But we quickly dashed back into the city center, which is about 1.5 km from the hotel. Surprise, surprise! We went for coffee first βοΈπ€·π½ββοΈ. But on the way we noticed that everything here seems cleaner and more organized than in the cities before βπΎ.
After dinner (which was really disappointing, the portion was mini, not even a toddler would be full, let alone us π€¦π½ββοΈπ) we went to the night market in search of pants for Lara and shorts for Jasna. And we found what we were looking for π₯³.
Then we went back to the hotel. We had a drink at the pool and now we're chilling a bit. Tomorrow evening we're going to Angkor Wat, we're excited.
In this sense, tschΓΆ with ΓΆ ππΎ.
