Tayrona & the Caribbean

Ebimisami: 20.08.2018

On Friday we finished our language course and explored the nightlife of Cartagena with a group of Spaniards. 'We are now going to a local club, the best in Cartagena.' Well.. the club was okay, a bit too expensive and packed. But it was actually quite fun... That's what I thought on Friday. On Saturday, all I could think was 'Never again spend 5 hours in a Colombian minibus with a hangover.' Well, you learn from your mistakes. In Tayrona, we had the chance to visit the national park. It was pretty exhausting (especially for Camilla, a German psychology student, and me) because the climate is not made for hiking. But the beach was beautiful (see pictures, sorry my camera still doesn't have Bluetooth or Wi-Fi function...). Today, we took a Colombian bus to Santa Marta to our new hostel (including functioning Wi-Fi 😃). At first, there was no bus for 40 minutes, and then two buses came at once, competing for passengers. Now we are sitting here, wondering what comes next... 😉
