Playa Delfines

This morning I fell out of bed again very early. My host father kicked me out of the bus on the way to work, which then took me to Playa Delfines in Cancun. On the way there was a hotel after another, proper luxury things.

When I drove past the sea with the bus, I couldn't believe my eyes for a moment. The water had the most beautiful color I have ever seen. Deep turquoise and the white beach. It was simply a dream. Apart from the algae carpets, which were also lying around there.

The water and the current had enormous power, the waves were really high, as it was also very windy. The first wave knocked me down properly and didn't let me go so quickly, so I decided to just be in the sea with my legs, better is better. Then I enjoyed life a little more and slowly made my way back home. This beach is definitely worth a visit, but here too it is worth getting up early again to avoid too many tourists.

In Cancun I had to find my Colectivo to Puerto Morelos, for that I had to walk almost 3km. Along the way, I had to realize that Cancun definitely disappointed me. The city is quite dirty, it stinks almost everywhere, very hectic and noisy, and the people are not as friendly as in the smaller villages, towns. I was glad that I didn't stay overnight in Cancun, definitely not worth it in my opinion.

Back in sweet Puerto Morelos, I took a little stroll through the working-class neighborhood there and then slowly went to bed.
