Today I went to Robberg with Sarah and Rouven. The name comes from the hundreds of seals that are spread around the mountain and swim and sunbathe there. The hike is very varied. First, we walked along a narrow path along a cliff. It was very green and the ground was sandy. Then it became increasingly rocky and you had to find your way over huge rocks and gaps. After the rocks, we arrived at a beautiful white sandy beach. The landscape here is truly breathtaking! We encountered numerous animals on the hike. Lizards of various sizes, different birds, and a 5cm long green-orange grasshopper. The hike took about 4 hours with breaks. After the hike, we went back to the marketplace. Whenever you don't know what to do, you get a coffee there, sit down and relax. In the evening, Steph wanted to cook spaghetti bolognese for all of us. So we went to the supermarket to buy the ingredients. Since the Black people are still protesting (for more free electricity), there were only two cash registers open in this huge supermarket. We had to wait for over half an hour. And despite the long line, the cashiers calmly did their job and were not stressed at all. The spaghetti bolognese had nothing to do with the bolognese we know, but it was still very delicious! After dinner, Paul had to direct traffic again because the Blacks set things on fire on the highway and it is now closed. This is also the reason why I haven't been to work yet. The orphanage is located in a township and thus in a high-risk area.
