So we are now sitting at the Skandinavienkai and enjoying the last hours in Germany, with a cold-hopped Schorle overlooking the hustle and bustle here in the harbor. We will then board the ferry shortly before midnight, where we will be for a little over 30 hours according to plan.

Today we started in Alfeld (Leine) by train and traveled to Lübeck Hauptbahnhof. By a nice coincidence, we were accompanied part of the way by a good friend. :-)

In the Lübeck city center, we bought some travel utensils and ate the classic Lübeck marzipan cake before we made our way to Travemünde.

The next time you will hear from us will be on board!
