July 2017: From Perth to Brisbane via Esperance

When we arrived in Perth, winter had arrived: rain, rain, and more ☔️. Camping is no fun in that weather, I can tell you that 😂. Despite there being so much to do in Perth, we didn't really feel like doing much in that weather. Our highlight was Tim's birthday 🎉, which we celebrated in the Australian winter 😅. Conclusion: Tim is happy to have his birthday in the summer.

The next 14 days on the way to Brisbane were less exciting. Rain ☔️ every day, often eating pizza (5$ Domino's pizza, because it's no fun to cook outside in the wind and cold), many hours of driving to escape the winter. Finally arrived in Brisbane, we had summer again ☀️ 😍. The weather on this continent is completely crazy 😅. Since we skipped the south completely, we arrived 2 weeks earlier than planned. So we had plenty of time to relax, recharge, and look forward to the visit of Nette, Diddi, and Lucy 😍!

Of course, we plan to come back to Australia 🇦🇺 at some point and explore the south!
