After another hour of driving through the Nevada desert, it suddenly appears. Las Vegas, the city that never sleeps, or as I would call it, the cities that never sleep, since each of the impressive hotels can be considered a city on its own. At least if the condition for a city is a Starbucks,
a casino, and many other shopping opportunities;) Everywhere you are bombarded by huge LED screens advertising a hotel or a show.
Unfortunately, the pirate show in front of Treasure Island, which my parents had recommended, was discontinued 5 years ago, as we found out today.
Well, Vegas is no longer what it used to be 20 years ago (my parents' honeymoon). Overall, despite the many people and changes, the scale of Vegas is still impressive, especially considering that we are in the middle of the desert.
