On Monday, I visited the southernmost lighthouse in Norway in Lindesnes. The entry fee of 10 euros seemed a bit high considering that you can only go up to the small lighthouse. But oh well, I still enjoyed the beautiful weather. After that, I continued to Karlskrona, because that's where my ferry to Hirtshals (Denmark) departed on Tuesday morning.
That doesn't mean the journey is over yet, because Rita and Hans-Peter were waiting for me in Aachen. I spent a lovely weekend with them and got to know some of their friends and family. It's great when some travel acquaintances become real friends that you see and will continue to see. On the way back home, I will also visit Hilde and Peter in Lorsch.
And that's the end of my journey. Next week, I will be back in my home country, before returning to work on September 1st.
@Colleagues: I will be in the office on September 1st and would love to see some familiar faces :-)
That's why this is also my last post here. Thanks to everyone who regularly read and rejoiced along with me, and therefore became part of my journey. It's amazing how quickly 9 months pass. My rolling home will be exchanged for my apartment again, where there have also been some changes. Another reason to be excited :-)
