Finally, the time has come again, Willie and Gunther (if you don't know them, you haven't been reading) are going on a journey with us. Exactly one year ago, we started our first tour. For this year, we have cleared four weeks again, but this time we are going in a different direction: a Scandinavia tour with a detour to the North Cape (as Lotti says: 'The goal is the journey!'). But before we could start, some improvement ideas had to be implemented (of course not at the last minute), so we did some equipment shopping, Willie got new tires, oil and a wooden interior, so that hopefully our storage system in the trunk doesn't end up as chaotic as last year. However, we are still curious whether it will creak and crack.
Today is departure day, 10 am from Tempeltown to Kiel, from where we take the ferry to Gothenburg and then continue with Willie to Oslo. There we will meet friends and do a classic city trip for the first 4 days and see what the city has to offer. (Wolf, the gin is packed!)
Afterwards, we will head north, this time we don't have much more in mind than the first 4 days and a rough idea of where we want to go. Especially the way back from the North Cape, if we even get there, is still in the works. We have to arrive back in Berlin on September 29th, everything else will unfold.
We are looking forward to being able to provide you with (hopefully) beautiful pictures and some updates and impressions from these amazing countries, maybe even a little daydreaming as an escape from everyday life. Finally, we are going on our long-awaited vacation with great joy, away from Berlin, away from everyday life and from the phone/accessibility.
