After coming back from my first China trip and taking my first exam, I returned to China and started my second trip. I went straight to Shenzhen, right after the border with Hong Kong. I really wanted to visit the 'Window of the World' park there, where there are many miniature replicas of famous attractions. It was really cool, but it was also the only thing I did there because the weather was really awful. Shenzhen has the worst smog and air pollution I have ever experienced. You can see it clearly in the pictures, and yes, it's not fog, even though it rained heavily in the afternoon and I went straight to the airport since I didn't have any other plans in Shenzhen.
But back to the park, even though the pictures are a bit hazy, it was really beautiful and I was surprised at how many amazing things were there that I had never heard of before. I thought to myself, these must definitely be added to a list of places I need to go in the world ;)
There was nothing else worth mentioning that I did in Shenzhen, it was a bit boring there. It was definitely more exciting in my following two entries in Xian and Beijing. :)
