The last few days were very turbulent, my time on Norman's farm came to an end. It was a relaxed, beautiful two weeks where I was able to learn a lot. One day before departure, we all played a round of golf together. A sport that you have to get into at first, but as it usually goes, I mastered it. The highlight was a hole of 155 meters with 3 shots.
On Thursday (September 5th), I was then driven by Norman to Hamilton. From there, it was on to Auckland, which was not exactly easy for me, to make a wreck back. However, it was worth it, and as it sometimes goes, you have to take a step back first in order to be able to take two steps forward.
Upon arriving in Auckland, I planned everything further at the hostel and stood before the big decision of how to proceed. Car or bus, north or south, work? In the end, it was the car, a black Subaru. At the hostel, I had a nice evening with an Englishman, a Spaniard, a taxi boy, and a group of French people. Together we talked, played, and drank.
I also had the opportunity to admire the free art museum on an afternoon off. The next day, decisions were made, and I bought the car from a German woman (Merle). Together, we clarified everything, and I took care of the insurance and all the paperwork.
I have already arrived on a new farm, but more on that in the next blog.
