With just one transfer, I was already in Huatulco, my last stop on the Mexican Pacific coast. In the evening, I bought the tour for the next day and some groceries, and I cooked my dinner, lentils with vegetables.
The next day, I was picked up from the hostel and we headed towards the port. I met Hector, who was also staying at the same hostel and taking the same tour. Luckily, there were still seats available at the front of the ship, and we had a clear view of the open sea and the coast. We passed by 5 bays (Bahías), and at the 6th bay, we stopped for snorkeling. The corals and fish were already impressive, and there was a lot to observe 🐟. We had a lunch break at the last bay, which we spent eating and chilling in the hammock.
Back in Huatulco, I took the overnight bus to Tuxtla Gutierrez, the capital of the state of Chiapas, and it was my longest bus ride in this trip so far, lasting 9 hours.
