The Teleférico: connects the poorer, hard-to-reach north (El Alto, 4,100m above sea level) with the wealthier center and south (3,200m above sea level). The first line came in 2014, now there are already 7, more under construction. Evo Morales at his best. Costs 2 bolivianos per ride (=25 cents). You can easily spend half a day riding around and see both tin shacks and luxury villas right from your living room.
