28.12.2019 - Day 2 - Cape Town, South Africa

After nearly 12 hours of flight, we landed in Cape Town this morning and were kindly picked up by our dear friend Stefan, where we will be staying for the first 5 days. We then drove to Somerset West, where he has a beautiful house with a magnificent view of False Bay. Stefan and Ilona have prepared a great room for us, where we will certainly feel comfortable.

At lunchtime, we went to the 'Route 44 Market', a food market with many different food stalls and live music in Stellenbosch, and indulged in burgers 🍔, ribs, oysters, and 2 bottles of South African white wine. It was absolutely fantastic.
