Working on Sunday

Ebifulumiziddwa: 12.08.2024

We invited our friends to our accommodation. Of course, we wanted to thank them for their hospitality and return the favor. So we bought and prepared food. Then the power went out. Around 12:00, we were ready for the guests. But they were late. What had happened? A public taxi had a flat tire. The other had problems with the brakes. Such things happen.

First, we fueled ourselves with sausages, scrambled eggs, and fruit. We had also bought a cake. We left the honor of cutting it to Rose, Caesar, and Mary. There was a loud countdown. Cake is rare here and is only served on special occasions.

After that, Torsten and I prepared a short presentation. It was about introducing our work and our support options. This way, we could also gather ideas for another joint project. Of course, we also discussed the next steps. What options are there with the new property, and how can the school operation continue, since the lease expires at the end of the year.

It was a beautiful afternoon that brought us closer together, and we had constructive conversations. You can clearly see our mood in the group photo.
