Hello girls and boys! [/uploads/b8031240-ff13-11e7-b555-dff2aeab71ca.jpeg_large.jpg] I spent the weekend with 4 colleagues from school (Swiss, what else ;-)) on a trip to Tamarindo. The reason why it's called "Los Tamagringos" is quite simple: in Tamarindo there are a lot more tourists (gringos = white people) and even more Swiss people than in Sámara. On Friday evening we rented a car (about USD 200 for 2 days - Costa Rica is not cheap, but considering the number of people we are, it's somewhat reasonable) and on Saturday morning at 7 o'clock (thanks Luana ;-)) we set off for Tamarindo. Once we arrived and deposited our luggage at the Blue-Trailz Hostel, we immediately went to the beach. It's very spacious there and you can see many surfers, as the waves are very high. In the evening, we had dinner at the Italian restaurant "La Pachanga". Later, we met another colleague from Switzerland, whom I know from my Edelweiss times. Laura then showed us a few good bars and clubs in Tamarindo, she has been there for the 5th time now. The next morning, we had a leisurely breakfast in Tamarindo and then headed to another beach. There were also a lot of locals (so-called "ticos") spending Sunday with their families at the beach. Sometimes there are monkeys on the beach, but unfortunately they're fenced off today. To refresh ourselves and end the day, I treated myself to a fresh "Pipa fria". P U R A V I D A 🥥☀️🌴 [/uploads/cd482b90-ff13-11e7-b555-dff2aeab71ca.jpeg_large.jpg]
