Oh man! I slept so well last night!
I mean, by my snoring and sawing, I triggered the mating season of marine mammals, and now some forest ladies are happily building their nests in the corals!
There they lay an egg and later feed their young with freshly caught fish, which they bought at the nearest fish market.
Do whales even have a mating season?
Does the Platzwal roar at the best coral in the sea to scare away its competitors?
So many questions and only the whales can answer them!
Before breakfast, I had to get my hands dirty...
On my jacket, that is!
You see, this rain jacket thought it could retire, the seams formed a union and decided to dissolve, which would give the jacket's boss (me) some wet days.
I wonder if duct tape can fix it inside and out...
After the sugar breakfast (in the future, I'll say that I need something proper!), we headed up the Berta and along the coast to Gallipoli.
On the way, I hopped into a market to get something proper to eat, I ran around looking for sausage, but at the meat counter, there was only fresh meat and I couldn't find anything. Until I finally took a closer look at the saleswoman and discovered that she was standing in front of a wall of salami!
Nothing against pretty women, but they do distract me.
Sometimes the desire for meat just goes wrong!
I should have taken a picture, well, of the sausage wall.
They had so many sausages!
Anyway, I had one of the sausages sliced, which looked like a loaf of bread, grabbed two olive rolls, and the next step was to find a place to eat, which I soon found, see photos!
Before that, I wandered through Gallipoli. Amazing old town! Beautiful circular route!
Off to the accommodation, off to Taranto and here we are at the tarantula, because the spider got its name from this city.
Why?
Only the tarantulas know that, but they constantly dance the tarantella here and refuse to answer me!
The mouse is gone because it was bitten by a tarantula!
P.s.: If anyone wants to criticize my mistakes, I'll stuff a tarantula in their pants!
