Let it snow...

Today there are some news again. 🙃

Besides working in the shop or helping in the barn, we sometimes have riding lessons in the afternoon.

The last week we had a written and practical riding test. 

The written test was about important questions about the horse. Among other things, we had to label a western saddle, a western bridle, an English saddle and an English bridle.

In the practical riding test we were supposed to show that we can do the safety check before riding, that we can mount on a horse, that we can ride the horse walk, trot and light trot, that we can stop the horse, that we can change direction and that we can dismount off the horse safely. I have passed both tests. Of course I was a bit nervous because I had to do everything in English. 😅 The test was to show how much experience you have with horses.

Yesterday ( punctually on November 1st ) it started snowing and we reached the minus degrees! 😂 I don't know if I should be happy or not. This is just the beginning. 😅 In any case, I have already taken out the winter jacket. But there should be up to half a meter of snow here. So I am curious...
