Instead, we were in paradise for pet store visitors: Zoo Zajac, the largest pet store in the world! Here you can buy everything related to pets on over 13,000 m². This includes practical things, but also the most bizarre accessories for your aquarium, terrarium, or even your dog. In addition, you can even shower and weigh your furry friend in the store.

But above all, there are many animals to admire, and families especially appreciate Zoo Zajac as a place of entertainment. It is so diverse that the store has its own Wikipedia entry. I also read there that even zoos have had rare animal species delivered from here. Zoo Zajac has also lent animals for television shows.

So it is not surprising that animal lovers also travel from afar. Everywhere you hear people talking shop and everyone seems to still discover things or animals here that they would like to buy.

The market also became well-known through the many contributions of owner Norbert Zajac on Youtube. Unfortunately, Norbert has since passed away, but his presence can still be found everywhere in the store: you can take selfies with him or buy books and t-shirts from him. His family is continuing his life's work.

Tip: If you plan to visit, look for the sloths. They sit up high under the ceiling. And of course, don't miss the outdoor area with free-roaming chickens and peacocks.
